Thanks, ladies. We took the motor out and sent it off to be dealt with properly. The fridge is the perfect dry storage - seriously. It's been tested over 2 winters. I did put a sheet of dry lock in the bottom to be sure. But I seriously don't think that it was necessary. Plus: Since I use different tableware outside, it saves storage space in my house.
