Since this is the entry way to our home I wanted to bring some of the feel of the outside in and use pieces that were representative of the area in which we live. What's indigenous to the
Lehigh Valley: Lime, Steel, and rust. Hence the tile, which feels sort of rusty to me. It was purchased at Home Depot.
The fencing is purely decorative but it recalls wrought iron. It was purchssed in sections as shown at Michael's.
The cafe table and chairs are an issue of the 1970s, reclaimed and spruced up. The blue cushions are original. I didn't like the brass & glass look of it so I painted it bronze and did
the top with chalk board paint. The sunflower bowl is my own paper mache, made from newspaper.
