I've been doing a little [okay - a lot] of pre-shopping [1] on Crate & Barrel's website [2], focusing on a rug for our living room. The room has very odd dimensions, being 27' long and only 11' wide, so I've decided to go with an area rug. Sizes seem to be very limited in the styles that I find most attractive and so I've put Photoshop to work to see which would work best in my room.

This is probably the hardest of the decisions that I have to make in putting my prize money [3] to work so I really appreciate your help. Below are the 3 front runners. Please let me know - which do you like best?

Kim [6] also gave me the idea of possibly getting two. I could fix them together as Casa once suggested [7]. This would give me a 4 x 12, which could also work very well.

In addition to this rug, I am also planning on selecting a solid, off white rug (sixe 30 x 50") [9] for our guest room and 2 new Euro-size pillows [10] to fit the shams of our new bedding in the master bedroom.

Since we have so many stores in our mostly local area, I'm going to call ahead and make sure they have what I want in stock. We'll save gas and this should also make my husband happy - not having to drive from the outlet in Cranberry, NJ to Bridgewater Commons.
