This corner is one of my favorite bright and cheerful spots in my home right now. I love the Dala horse, which is a little more punk rock than your typical red Swedish dala horse (my grandpa used to make and paint them when I was a kid). The flowers, which are in a simple Ikea vase, are echinops, which dry really well, and were saved from my wedding bouquet. The bright brick red wall in the living room always gives me a boost, and the green vases are just starting to bloom with purple hyacinth flowers, from bulbs I've been forcing.
