I've finally been inspired as a result of all the casa makeover posts to get up off my bum and do something!

My friend is moving house and as a house warming gift I thought us girls could club together and make her a gorgeous girlie wardobe- Laura Ashley inspired, Ikea+Ebay purchased!

I found a wardrobe for £99 at Ikea.

By simply removing the boring door pulls and replacing them with some cut glass ones, you create a gorgeous, stylish and of course girlie wardrobe at a snip of the price! I'm such a recessionista! Most importantly it's not too much work for my well manicured hands

There are lots of door pulls on ebay- I found an ebay store which sells them in plentyful amounts. A great range included clear glass, pink, a gorgeous dark blue and also black. Plenty of different sizes too and they come in at around £5 each!

You could make the most of the different sizes by doing this for a range of furniture:

Large for a wardrobe, medium for a chest of drawers and small for a bed side table.
