Of course I would need other things, but these are my basic wants of things I need to replace or do not have (like a standing mixer)!

My husband and I plan to move out of our apartment into a home in about two years, so I started planning what color schemes I want, etc. While I cannot make static plans, I do love to plan ahead and have basic ideas of what I want to do.

I am starting with the kitchen.
My mother has this old kitchen table, that I am going to paint the top white, with an orange stripe down the middle, the base is silver. The walls will get a coat of milky white semi-gloss paint (so they can be wiped down) and will have orange squares in each corner, by taping off a triangular section on each wall's corner and painting the inside orange.
These are some of the orange and red and white things I would like to add, to make it pop and give it a little of my own, my husbands, and my son's personality.
