I was really nervous about repainting this antique clock, but after so many years I was tired of the unusual green colour and wanted to restore it back to its original state. There was so much varnish/paint on it that it would have been too difficult to sand out, so I took a risk with some spray paint (3 cans) of "heirloom white" and went for it. I think it turned out nice!

1wow it looks amazing!!
2i love your light fitting too
Thanks for the nice comments!
The green/design of this clock had been around for decades although it was unique, I was so tired of being held hostage by the color scheme of it. I really love it now and I hope my mother isn't going to be too disappointed about it when she visits this holiday.
The chandelier is from Lamps Plus and to update it i changed out the candelabra bulbs for round bulbs to give it a modern update.
3Looks great with the chandelier too - very pretty!
4i love this, although i think in the green version where there are panels of florals, i think maybe you could add some contact paper/design to the white version as well. it would be a nice pop.
5It's beautiful either way. The new color is pretty, also. Are you going to put another tassel on it?
