A Great Houseplant!

Nov 4 2007 - 6:28pm

With the winter quickly approaching, I thought I would share one of my favorite houseplants with you. Pictured here is the Peace Lily. The Peace Lily is a low light plant, which means it doesn't need direct sunlight. The white blooms happen from spring to summer, so this plant is nearing the end of the blooming season. The foliage looks amazing all year. All it needs is watering about once a week...they will start to look droopy when they get dry. It's best to pick a day that you can water once a week. If you fertilize during the blooming season with an ordinary houseplant food, that will help the blooming process.

I have two others like this. Both are over seven years old! [0]
