My mother-in-law gave my husband and I 2 canvases he painted in high school. Knowing he lacked artistic talent he just went to town on them. I guess it was around the time of the Letterman Oscar-hosting-debacle, so he painted the words "Uma" and "Oprah" on there in hebrew and told the teacher it was some sort of blessing. There's some wallpaper on there too.
Anyway, my husband (who had no interest in taking the paintings, let alone hanging them) told his mom I wouldn't let him hang them. This is what he found when he came home from work the next day:
