I've been doing a little [okay - a lot] of pre-shopping on Crate & Barrel's website, focusing on a rug for our living room. The room has very odd dimensions, being 27' long and only 11' wide, so I've decided to go with an area rug. Sizes seem to be very limited in the styles that I find most attractive and so I've put Photoshop to work to see which would work best in my room.
Borrowing kitchen items for home improvement projects
After a weekend of patching holes, painting walls and installing new baseboards in our guestroom/my office, I was amazed at how many kitchen tools have disappeared into my husband's workshop. We used an old soup ladle to put paint into the roller tray. He has one of my cast-off cake decorating spatulas to smooth plaster on walls.Which one do you like?

We need to redone our kitchen floor and going with tile instead of wood.
Do you buy all your furniture at one shop?
Well.. I did my room recently, complete make over, the last stages of packing and dumping will take place this weekend. I got most of my stuff at Ikea, cos I wanted a neat and coordinating look, and besides, it's rather budget friendly.

Which is the most beautiful swimming pool?
I am dreamming with my new house and I love water. I can´t have a house less a swimming pool because Rio de Janeiro, where I live, is very hot. I have a small space and I have to choose with very much care.
