A room for a male in his 20's...

I really like rich, dark blues but I know dark colors make a room look small. So, I dunno.

paint one wall navy (preferrably the back wall, or the wall with his bed) and the others a more grey-blue

my boyfriend is 26 and his room is a really bright blue color. i couldnt find the exact color online but it looks like one of the shades in your picture (similar to the 6th one down on the far left). It's really a great color.

I like the swatches closest to the A (far left) and would go with a blue with grey tones...either the top or 3rd down

i also agree with hanako...both of those are gorgeous colors, and as kiwitwist mentioned, the lighter the color, the bigger the room looks.

we just paint our master a blueish gray last fall and love it.

I'd love to see a snap of the room as it is now but, just off the cuff, I'd say go with a more subdued tone of grayish-blue. Cream woodwork. Brown furniture. Natural/unvarnished flooring. Celery-corriander accents or a bit of burnt orange would add punch.

Aw thank you so much for all of your ideas!! I love the idea of a greyish blue, but now he has switched his mind to green I don't know if any of you might have some advice for green? If not I think I will be ok since it's a warmer color and that's what I am used to painting... Thanks again everyone! I will be sure to post before and after pictures regardless what color he ends up with
