This corner is one of my favorite bright and cheerful spots in my home right now. I love the Dala horse, which is a little more punk rock than your typical red Swedish dala horse (my grandpa used to make and paint them when I was a kid). The flowers, which are in a simple Ikea vase, are echinops, which dry really well, and were saved from my wedding bouquet.

Here's a post from CasaSugar Community member ChicConservator from the Su Casa group:
One of the main projects in my house is to go through and paint all the rooms. With all the snow days I've had this winter, I've had plenty of time to re-paint the room I am calling my studio. The paint color I chose is "Environmental" by Behr. We went with the Behr premium plus paint and it is so nice to work with! I also bought the fabric and made these simple curtains myself. Now that it is looking more like a finished room, I am having trouble deciding what furniture to put in this room. I would like to use it as an artist studio and workspace. An absolute must is a large worktable with a smooth, flat surface. Probably some sort of flat drawers, or storage would also be useful.

This is one of my favorite spots in our home. It's a sideboard that houses games, but it's the map above and bowls on top of it that make it my favorite. The map is mounted on foam core so we can add pins to it to mark all the places we've been to as a family.

This is a picture of my homeroom. Since I stay in an apartment with my folks and share a room with my sister, my 'workplace' is the next best place where I let my creativity and personality shine through. My students love my room, and it is inviting and comfortable.

Su Casa member LittleLeo recently transformed a dated china cabinet into a fabulous bookcase:
We inherited this piece from a friend who was getting a new dining room set. My husband couldn't understand why I wanted the cabinet and not the dining table too. I explained I had a vision for my home office.

designspongeonline.comAnother one from Design*Sponge!
Absolutely adore what's been done to this chair
I do feel like I'm always repeating myself but where to people manage to 'snap up' 2 chairs for $15 dollars!!! However, it's what you do with it afterwards which counts.
