If your pups need the knead-and-pat technique before laying down for some shut-eye, the new Bindy bed by Bindaboo is pawfect for their paws! Looking like a shag carpet sample, the curly soft texture is actually a polyester fleece material that naturally traps heat to regulate pets' body temperature.
The fringe is appealing for big-time snuggles, and the two sizes — in chocolate and cream — fit pooches large and small while the price still goes easy on your wallet ($36 to $44).

Touring Austin's Bouldin Castle, a former Mission-style- turned-fairytale home, I noticed a set of platform beds made from stacked wooden beams and felt a serious pang of envy. The beds have an awesome organic modern quality to them that's just downright cool. I wouldn't be surprised if the beams were salvaged, too; they do look a bit worn.

I just stumbled across this Charles P. Rogers Marseille Forged Iron Bed ($500-1,400, reduced from $700-1700), and I'm totally in lust with it. I love how, while it does have ornate iron scrollwork and decorative castings, it's still not too fussy.

This point has been ingrained in most health-minded women for a while now: tanning beds are not healthy. They increase cancer risk exponentially after just a little bit of exposure, especially if you're under 30. While I'm not too proud of my teenage tanning days (it was pretty trendy to get a bit of a "glow" before going to the prom), I vowed never to set foot in the tanning salon ever again.

As a kid, I always fantasized about having a canopy bed, and ever since I spotted the Creme Fresh Celeste Bed, I've discovered that there are plenty of canopy beds for grown-ups too. But these dreamy canopies aren't the imposing four-posters of old. The big trend is in light and airy canopy beds made from sleek metal, slender wood, and sculpted wrought iron for a look that's both romantic and modern.

I'm in love with this photo styled by Lucy Berridge. Although the mattress doesn't look very comfortable, it really makes me want to have a canopy over my bed. It looks so dreamy, and especially gorgeous with those vaulted ceilings.

CasaSugar Community member tarabeth asked in the Assisted Living group, "Who makes bedding (quilts in particular) similar to the quality and style of Anthropologie?"Good question, tarabeth! I love Anthropologie's bedding. Some other great retailers for equally romantic, bohemian bedding are India Rose, Garnet Hill, Ballard Designs, Brocade Home, The Company Store, and Plover Organic.

There's something so ethereal and romantic about a curtained bed. However, I just don't think it's practical at my house. Would it work in yours?

At first glance, you may mistake these pet beds for the ever popular Crocs. Now, the shoes themselves fill me with questions (how? why?
