It's time for Top of the Pops to make its annual reappearance, as at 2pm today the show's Christmas special airs on BBC1! Featuring Robbie Williams, Muse, Florence and the Machine, Sugababes, The Saturdays, La Roux, JLS and so many more, the hour long show will look back at the year in music and count down to the Xmas number one.
The X Factor winner Joe McElderry might not have made it to the top spot this week, but he got to perform his single "The Climb" on the show — but will you watch or record the show today as part of your Christmas Day?

Over on Spinner they've compiled lists of the top 12 Worst Christmas Songs and the 12 Best Christmas Songs, limiting the choices to pop/rock songs (so, not including your average carols). As with any list, there are some bizarre choices on both lists, and some that totally hit the nail on the obnoxious-holiday song's head.
I totally agree with John Denver's "Please, Daddy (Don't Get Drunk This Christmas)" being number two on the Worst Christmas Songs list (seriously, there's nothing heartwarming about that diddy), though I must say I really like Bruce Springsteen's "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town."

Here's a post from CasaSugar Community member (and Sugar staffer!) Nancita from the Su Casa group:
My apartment is pretty small, which means a small tree in the dining room, but I'm trying. I love incorporating my childhood ornaments, along with vintage-looking (but LED) multicolored lights.

The Royal family were full of smiles as they arrived for the Christmas Day service at Sandringham Church in King's Lynn. Members of the public lined the snowy path to welcome the Queen and her family, with the female members like Autumn Phillips, Zara Phillips, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Princess Anne, Camilla Parker Bowles and Sophie Rhys-Jones all wearing an array of colourful hats. Prince William kept clean-shaven for the service, unlike last Christmas when he debuted a full beard which didn't last long!

This year the Beckhams and the Ramsays are joining together to spend Christmas at David and Victoria's mansion, known as Beckingham Palace. The two families are like British celebrity royalty, and I'd love to be a fly on the wall at their festive gathering. The actual Royal family, on the other hand, won't be at Buckingham Palace but will spend Christmas Day at Sandringham, like last year.

With the baking and gift-giving hysteria that surrounds a holiday like Christmas each year, one would think there'd be more drinks dedicated to Dec. 25. I've always been surprised that only few classic yuletide tipples, beyond the requisite eggnog, mulled cider, and spiked hot chocolate, exist.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have been enjoying the Christmas period on Gavin's home turf, and on Boxing Day they wrapped up warm for a walk on Hampstead Heath in London with Zuma and Kingston. On Sunday the gang headed to Beaconsfield to visit family, with the boys dressed up in matching tops: adorable! By Bank Holiday Monday, Gwen was ready to hit the gym, keeping warm in her pink coat.

A special Christmas brunch should end with a stunning dessert. Instead of serving something that requires last-minute attention, plate slices of a cranberry vanilla coffeecake that can be made on Christmas Eve.
It will fill the house with an enticing aroma and get your family excited for the breakfast.
